Fire Inspections are a two-step process. Individuals will need a fire inspection (902) ticket issued by Lee County. Once the ticket is issed, you can complete the form associated with the ticket and Captiva Island Fire Control District will perform the inspection. If you choose not to complete the form online you can call the district and make arrangements for an inspection at (239)472-9494.
Once the inspection is complete and payment is received, the appropriate staff will sign off and return the documentation to Lee County. The Lee County Inspections Office will only accept documentation from Captiva Island Fire Control District and will not accept documentation from contractors or residents.
Captiva Island Fire Control District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
